Two days after car drives through wall, Attleboro dispensary reopens – Turn to 10

ATTLEBORO, MASS. (WJAR) — An Attleboro dispensary has officially reopened just two days after a car smashed through the front facade.

On Saturday morning, a sense of normalcy restored at the Zahara Cannabis Dispensary.

It was Thursday– a woman in her early 60’s plowed through the front wall.

Attleboro Police said the driver suffered minor injuries. But inside the store two customers were struck and rushed to the hospital.

The Zahara dispensary started a community go fund me page that has already raised more than $5000 to help cover the costs of the victims’ medical bills.

As for the speedy reopening of the store, Zahara staff were back the next day, working alongside build crews to repair the damage.

Those repairs an unexpected expense for the store. No total cost has been determined.

Managers and staff say customers can support by visiting the shop during normal business hours and through supporting their future events.
