A cannabis dispensary employee and a 62-year-old woman were injured after the woman’s SUV drove into an Attleboro dispensary, according to the Attleboro Fire Department.
At around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, firefighters went to Zahara Cannabis Dispensary at 70 Frank Mossberg Drive for a report of a car that crashed into the building, the fire department said in a statement.
The SUV, a Nissan Pathfinder, drove through a wall and stopped about 15 feet inside the store, the fire department said.
The woman who drove the SUV and a store employee were both injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. No one else was hurt.
The Attleboro Police Department is investigating the crash. A city building inspector checked out the building and determined it was structurally sound.
