‘New Economic Opportunities’ At Sullivan County, NY’s First Dispensary – 94.3 Lite FM

Sullivan County, NY has been experiencing growth in 2024. This county was the first in New York State to tackle cyber threats with a new program.

On Thursday, April 22, 2024 Sullivan County, NY was the first in New York State to begin using the New York State Security Operations Center which is also known as NYSSOC.

It allows the state to monitor for cyber threats with a goal of preventing them and improving responses to incidents. It also assists with detecting cyber threats, attacks and also responds to these issues.

Along with this new program, The Sullivan County, NY International Airport has been undergoing changes.

On March 22, 2024, New York State released information about Governor Kathy Hochul about the start of exciting renovations and constructions that will take place at Sullivan County International Airport.

According to New York State, this project has been awarded $18.5 million through Revitalization Competition along with Upstate Airport Economic Development as well. The Sullivan County International Airport was constructed in 1969 and is located within the Catskills.

Sullivan County, NY along with other counties within New York State have been seeing more dispensaries opening.
