Crash into Mass. dispensary leaves employee, pedestrian injured – WCVB Boston

Three people are being treated for injuries they suffered when a sport utility vehicle crashed into a cannabis dispensary in Attleboro, Massachusetts, according to police.Attleboro police said the crash into Zahara Cannabis, located at 70 Frank Mossberg Drive, happened at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday.Investigators said an SUV crashed into the dispensary near the southwest corner of the building and continued to travel inside the building, coming to rest inside the dispensary’s retail space.A Zahara Cannabis employee was struck by the SUV as it came into the building and suffered injuries to his right forearm and ankle, as well as a possible concussion, according to police. The 34-year-old man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence to be treated for his injuries.Attleboro police said a pedestrian who was outside the dispensary was also struck by the vehicle. The 42-year-old woman suffered lacerations to her head and lower back, and she was also experiencing knee pain when she was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.The driver of the SUV involved in the crash, a 61-year-old woman, was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with what police described as minor injuries.All of the injured parties were transported from the scene by Attleboro Fire Department
