Car crashes into Attleboro cannabis dispensary, three injured – The Boston Globe

Three people were injured after a car crashed into a cannabis dispensary in Attleboro Thursday afternoon, the fire department said.

Firefighters responded to Zahara Cannabis Dispensary at 70 Frank Mossberg Drive at about 1:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a car that crashed into the building, Attleboro fire said in a statement.

When they arrived, they found a Nissan Pathfinder had crashed through a wall and came to a stop approximately 15 feet into the store.

The driver, a 62-year-old woman from Attleboro, and two others inside the store were injured in the crash, Attleboro fire said. They were taken to a local hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no update on their conditions Thursday night.

No other injuries were reported, Attleboro fire said.

Attleboro police also responded to the scene and are investigating the crash.

“A City Building Inspector was called to the scene, and following an inspection determined the building is structurally sound,” Attleboro fire said. “Firefighters used a hydraulic cutting tool to cut away parts of the building to facilitate removal of the car by a tow truck.”
