The North Country’s first recreational cannabis dispensary is open for business.Elevate ADK is temporarily based in Plattsburgh and is running a delivery-only cannabis service that caters to multiple towns, including Plattsburgh, Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, Elizabethtown and more.Elevate ADK prides itself on only carrying New York-grown cannabis products, selling more than 100 varieties from flowers to edibles to cannabis beverages.Eli Emery, general manager of Elevate ADK, said he’s thrilled to have finally opened up in the North Country.”All of our partners and owners are native New Yorkers and they’re all from upstate, like up here in the North Country. So we really wanted to keep it local and bring a business that just, there’s no service up here in the North Country that offers what we do and offers safe access to safe cannabis that’s lab tested.
