It has been several weeks since we last mentioned ABATTIS BIOCEUTICA COM NPV (OTCMKTS:ATTBF) here on Street Register, at which time we were discussing a cannabis technology breakthrough the company had made.
Abattis had just reported on the successful completion of experiments confirming its proprietary column chromatography extraction technology. The experiments assessed the feasibility of applying the technology for the extraction of CBD, THC and THCA from industrial hemp and cannabis.
This week, we’re swinging back around to ABATTIS BIOCEUTICA COM NPV (OTCMKTS:ATTBF) in order to detail the company’s near-total acquisition of more cannabis greenhouse growing space. The company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 90% ownership interest in Gabriola Green Farms Inc. Gabriola is a privately held British Columbia company that has applied for a license to produce under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) on Gabriola Island, one of the gulf islands located in the Strait of Georgia off the coast of British Columbia. Gabriola Island has a consistent temperature and humidity level, which makes it well suited to greenhouse growing.
